What is ‘Heart Your Body’? Our passion and purpose is to help create a community to inspire, encourage and grow together to cultivate more self love, self care, and compassion for ourselves and our bodies. We acknowledge that we are a work in progress (as we all are… and that’s okay!), and our passion is to help spread the message of self love & care, no matter how we perceive our bodies, to embrace the “good” and the “bad”. We often have chats about how to take time out to relax, take it easy, be kind on ourselves, and how to begin to let go of the idea of physical perfection.
Even during our most light hearted & interesting discussions, it is evident that we’ve been conditioned to be hard on ourselves; that we are not enough. It is something we often pull each other up on, and something we all need to be more aware of. We are all imperfectly perfect – and that’s okay, actually, that’s great! Striving for perfection only leads to disappointment and unhappiness, because it does not exist. Being kind to ourselves, practicing self love, care and allowing space for growth and being able to laugh at ourselves are some of our key ideals. This is the message we want to share with you, in hopes that we will all learn to heart our bodies a little more each day.
